North West Breeding Services, previously North West Pet Scanning, was born in 2013 from a love of all things canine and my desire to work within a world where our expertise could make a difference. I realised the experiences both my Husband Steve and I have with dogs, from owning, breeding, showing and judging them could be used to help others.
I worked solo for the first 3 years and when Steve was made redundant he joined me. The business changed name to NWBS and we expanded our service range to include progesterone testing, semen analysis, semen freezing and so on. From a purely mobile range of services, 2020 saw us open our single lab office in Bacup which was quickly extended in 2021 to the two room and reception area clinic we have today (and Steve still says there isn’t enough space for the two of us!).
We have grown from strength to strength over the years and have a massive loyal client base which is added to on a daily basis. We take our clients under our wing and support their breeding journeys, the good and the sad and take pride with them in their successes.
We have made many lovely friendships along the way and with our passion for what we do we are constantly striving to go above and beyond ensuring our services are second to-none. We never stop learning after all.
After recently adding Puppy Natal Class, Packs and Welfare Visits to our service list we are now able to support clients after the birth of their litter and have already helped to save a number of puppies when new breeders have found themselves unsure.
The inclusion of “Puppy Patch” our helpful puppy sales tool for client use, the introduction of Isobel-May Smith our PA and Social Media Manager and a few other ideas that came to fruition in late 2022, we hope going forwards our clients are as excited as we are with the way our family business is growing.
We have some fabulous reviews and success stories on our facebook page, and plan to re launch our new blog page "diariesofadogwnkr" so have a read, message or call us if you need any advice or would like to book in with us!
